Boiler Servicing

At a boiler service I will check that your boiler is operating correctly and identify any initial problems. Then remove the boiler casing to look at the general condition of the boiler and it's  components and to check that the boiler is working safely and efficiently as follows:

  1. Correct gas pressure and flow.
  2. Flue and Combustion. A flue gas analyser will be used to make sure the boiler is burning the right mixture of gas and air and that the flue is not blocked.
  3. Electrical Connections are clean and in good condition.
  4. Fan and other key components are working efficiently.
  5. Case seals are intact.
  6. System water pressure.
  7. Safety devices are checked.
  8. Check condensate trap and pipe are not blocked.
  9. Check expansion vessel charge and pressure relief valve.
  10. Visual check for leaks.

If required any authorised repairs and maintenance can be carried out at an additional charge of £75 per hour + parts.

A Boiler Service may solve low pressure problems or a blocked condensate trap, however if your boiler is not working or not providing you with hot water or heating, it's advisable to book a boiler repair instead.
Please note: If it is necessary to have the heat exchanger or burner cleaned or replacement seals and parts are required, you will be informed prior to starting work of any additional costs.
Diagnostics, repair or parts necessary for any defect which is found during the boiler service is your responsibility and does not form part of the boiler service.
